Planning and Comfort
When needed, we take a 3D CBCT scan to see your teeth, bone, nerves, and sinuses in detail before surgery. On the day of your procedure, the area is fully numbed, and you can choose sedation: nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or advanced sedation with a local anesthesiologist.
Recovery and Aftercare
- Rest for the rest of the day and keep your head raised.
- Use ice packs for swelling during the first 24 hours.
- Eat soft foods and avoid straws, smoking, and spitting for at least 72 hours.
- Take pain medicine as directed.
- Keep the area clean with gentle salt water rinses starting the next day.
- Come back for your follow-up so we can check your healing.

You can be, with the area fully numbed. Or you can choose sedation, from mild relaxation to deeper sedation with an anesthesiologist. -
How long is recovery?
Most people feel back to normal in a few days. Bone grafts and implants take a few months to fully heal under the gum, but that doesn't keep you from daily life. -
Do you refer to an oral surgeon?
Most procedures happen right here. For rare cases that need a specialist, we'll explain why and help coordinate your care. -
