Plan, place, and restore your implant in one office

What dental implants replace
Missing a tooth changes more than your smile. It changes how you chew, how you talk, and how your jawbone holds its shape over time. Dental implants replace the whole tooth, root and all, so your new tooth looks, feels, and works like the one you lost.
At Siena Dental, Dr. Bashir Motamedi and Dr. Bruce Beheshtin plan, place, and restore Leander dental implants in our office, from a single tooth to a full smile. Your consultation is free.
Implant options for every smile
Single Tooth Implants
One implant and a custom crown replace one missing tooth. The teeth on either side stay untouched.
Multi-Tooth Implants
When you’re missing several teeth, a few implants can support a bridge, so you don’t need an implant for every tooth.
All-on-4 Implants
Four implants hold a full arch of new teeth. It’s a fixed alternative to traditional dentures for patients missing most or all of their teeth.
Implant-Supported Dentures
Implants anchor your denture so it stays put when you eat and talk, no adhesive needed.
Are you a candidate for dental implants?
Most adults who are missing teeth can get implants. Your dentist will look at three things:
- Healthy gums. Gum disease needs to be treated first, and we can do that here.
- Enough jawbone. If bone has thinned, bone grafting or a sinus lift can rebuild it. We do both in-house.
- Your overall health. Conditions like uncontrolled diabetes or heavy smoking can slow healing, so we’ll talk through your health history.
Even if you’ve been told you’re not a candidate somewhere else, it’s worth a second look.
How implants compare to bridges and dentures
A bridge relies on the teeth beside the gap, and a denture rests on your gums. An implant stands on its own in your jaw, which helps keep the bone there from shrinking.
A bridge is faster to finish, but dental implants outlast bridges for most patients, and your dentist doesn’t file down healthy teeth to hold them. Your dentist walks through all three options at your consultation.
How the implant process works
1. Free consultation and 3D scan
We examine your mouth and take a 3D CBCT scan of your jaw. Your dentist explains your options, the timeline, and the cost in writing.
2. Implant placement
Your dentist places the implant in our office using local anesthesia. If you’re nervous, we offer sedation. In some cases, we can remove a tooth and place the implant in the same visit.
3. Healing
Over the next few months, the implant fuses with your jawbone. You’ll wear a temporary tooth or denture in the meantime when needed.
4. Your new tooth
Once you’ve healed, we attach your custom crown, bridge, or denture, matched to the shape and shade of your natural teeth.
Planned in 3D, placed with precision
Our CBCT scanner shows your jawbone, nerves, and sinuses in three dimensions. Your dentist uses the scan to choose the exact position, angle, and depth of each Leander implant before surgery.
Our dental technology also includes 3D impressions, so there are no impression trays when we make your new tooth.
Caring for your implants
Implants can’t get cavities, but the gums around them can still develop an infection. Brush twice a day, clean around the implant with floss or a water flosser, and keep your regular cleanings.
Smoking and teeth grinding raise the risk of dental implant failure, so tell your dentist if either applies to you. These implant care tips cover the first weeks after surgery and the habits that protect your implant for years.

Leander dental implants FAQs
-
How much do dental implants cost?
The cost of Leander dental implants depends on how many teeth you're replacing and whether you need prep work like bone grafting. See our dental implant cost page, or get an exact estimate at your free consultation. -
Does getting an implant hurt?
Most patients say it's easier than they expected. The area is fully numbed, and sedation is available. Afterward, soreness usually eases within a few days. -
How long does the whole process take?
Most single implants take three to six months from placement to final crown, mostly healing time. Bone grafting can add a few months. -
Can I get an implant the same day my tooth comes out?
Sometimes. If the area is healthy and there's enough bone, your dentist can remove the tooth and place the implant in one visit. Your 3D scan shows whether that's an option for you. -
Can I eat normally with implants?
Yes. Once your final tooth is in place, you can eat the foods you love, including crunchy and chewy foods. -
How long do implants last?
With good brushing, flossing, and regular checkups, implants can last 20 years or more. -
Is All-on-4 better than dentures?
For many patients missing a full arch, yes. All-on-4 implants stay fixed in place and leave the roof of your mouth uncovered, while a traditional denture comes out at night. -
What if I don't have enough jawbone for implants?
A bone graft or sinus lift can rebuild it, and we do both in our Leander office. Grafting can add a few months before your implant goes in. -
Do you offer dental implants for seniors?
Yes. Age alone doesn't rule out dental implants. Your gums, bone, and overall health matter more, and we check all three at your free consultation. -
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We work with CareCredit, Sunbit, and Compassionate Finance and offer in-house payment plans. See affordable dental implants for more.
