Your Sedation Options
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
You breathe it through a small mask over your nose. Within minutes, you feel relaxed and a little light. It wears off quickly once the mask comes off, so you can usually drive yourself home.
Oral Conscious Sedation
You take a prescribed anti-anxiety pill before your visit. You’ll stay awake and able to respond, but deeply relaxed, and many people remember little of the appointment. You’ll need someone to drive you to and from our office.
Advanced Sedation
For longer or more complex procedures, like All-on-4 implants or wisdom teeth removal, we partner with a local anesthesiologist who provides deeper sedation and monitors you throughout. You’ll rest through the procedure, and you’ll need a ride home.
Your Safety Comes First
Before any sedation, we review your health history and medications to choose the safest option for you. During treatment, we monitor your breathing and vital signs. After your visit, we give you clear instructions for the rest of the day.
More Ways We Keep You Comfortable
Not everyone needs sedation. We also offer blankets and wireless headphones, explain each step before we do it, and let you take breaks whenever you need. Our team speaks English, Spanish, and Farsi, so you can talk through any worries in the language you’re most comfortable with.

Is sedation safe?
Yes, when it's matched to your health history and monitored properly. We review your medical history and medications first and watch your vital signs throughout. -
Will I be asleep?
With nitrous oxide and oral sedation, you stay awake but relaxed. With advanced sedation provided by an anesthesiologist, you'll be in a much deeper state and likely won't remember the procedure. -
Can I drive after sedation?
After nitrous oxide, usually yes. After oral or advanced sedation, no. Please arrange for someone to drive you home. -
Does insurance cover sedation?
