Who are the dentists at Siena Dental?
Siena Dental is led by Dr. Bashir Motamedi and Dr. Bruce Beheshtin, both board-certified dentists with years of experience in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. -
What are your office hours?
We're open Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and closed Friday through Sunday. Emergency visits are available by appointment. -
Does your team speak languages other than English?
Yes. Our team speaks English, Spanish, and Farsi, so you can ask questions and talk through treatment in the language you are most comfortable with. -
Do you see children and families?
Yes. We welcome patients ages 4 and up, so parents and kids can see the same dental team.
Appointments and Your First Visit
-
How do I become a new patient?
Call us at (737) 766-7226 or request an appointment online. We'll find a time that works, check your insurance ahead of your visit, and let you know what to expect. -
What happens at my first visit?
We start with digital X-rays and a comprehensive exam so your dentist can see the full picture of your oral health. From there, your dentist walks you through what they found and gives you clear treatment recommendations, with costs explained before anything begins. Our New Patients page has the details, including our current new patient special. -
Can I get a same-day appointment?
Often, yes. We hold time for same-day visits, especially when you're in pain. -
I get nervous at the dentist. Can you help?
Yes, and you're far from alone. We offer blankets and wireless headphones during visits, and we explain each step before we do it. For patients who need more support, we offer sedation dentistry, from nitrous oxide to oral sedation, and we partner with a local anesthesiologist for advanced sedation during longer procedures.
Insurance, Payment, and Financing
-
Do you take my dental insurance?
We accept all PPO dental insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, MetLife, and UnitedHealthcare. We'll verify your benefits and file your claims for you. -
What if I don't have dental insurance?
You can still get affordable care here. We offer an in-house membership plan for patients without insurance. Ask our front desk what it includes and how to sign up. -
What payment options do you accept?
We accept cash, personal checks, all major credit cards, and HSA cards. For larger treatment, we offer financing through CareCredit, Sunbit, and Compassionate Finance. See our financial options for more. -
Will I know the cost before treatment starts?
Yes. Your dentist reviews your treatment plan with you, and our team gives you a cost estimate, including what your insurance is expected to cover, before we begin.
Services at Our Leander Office
-
What services do you offer?
Siena Dental is a one-stop office. We handle cleanings and exams, fillings, root canals, crowns, extractions, gum treatment, cosmetic care, Invisalign, dentures, and dental implants in the same office, so you rarely need a referral elsewhere. -
Do you place dental implants in-house?
Yes. Our dentists place dental implants right here in Leander, from single tooth implants to All-on-4 and implant-supported dentures. We also do bone grafting and sinus lifts in-house when you need them before an implant. -
Is the dental implant consultation really free?
Yes. Your implant consultation is free, a $475 value. You will meet with your dentist, talk through your options and costs, and decide on your own timeline, with no obligation to move forward. -
Do you offer Invisalign and teeth whitening?
We do. Invisalign straightens teeth with clear aligners, and our teeth whitening options brighten your smile safely. We'll help you decide which fits your goals.
Technology
-
What technology do you use?
We use digital X-rays, 3D CBCT scans, digital impressions, and intraoral cameras. Together, they help your dentist diagnose accurately and plan treatment precisely. Learn more on our dental technology page. -
Do I have to bite into impression goop?
No. We take 3D digital impressions with a small handheld scanner instead of trays of impression material. It's faster, more accurate, and much more comfortable. -
Are digital X-rays safe?
Yes. Digital X-rays use much less radiation than traditional film X-rays, and the images appear on screen right away so your dentist can show you exactly what they see.
Dental Emergencies
-
What should I do if I have a dental emergency?
Call us at (737) 766-7226 as soon as you can. We keep time for same-day emergency visits Monday through Thursday. While you wait, rinse with warm water and hold a cold compress on your cheek to ease swelling. Our emergency dentist page covers common emergencies and how we treat them. -
Do you see new patients for emergencies?
Yes. You don't need to be a current patient. If you're in pain, call us and we'll do our best to see you the same day. -
What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe tooth pain, a knocked-out or broken tooth, swelling in your face or gums, a lost filling or crown, and bleeding that won't stop all need prompt care. If you're not sure, call us and we'll help you decide.
